The "periodical room" in the Main House was an extremely important project for the owner. We took extra care in pre-qualifying mill workers and conducting shop tours to ensure quality standard expectations would be met and the selected mill worker had the bandwidth to deliver in a tight timeline. The estate manager and I were very impressed with your Auburn production facility, in-house finish shop and use of CNC milling technology. After award, Elliot Bay quickly delivered shop drawings which included details that beautifully integrated light fixtures, diffusers and wire chases into the final design. I was also pleased to see the attention you paid to achieving a finish that would blend with the aged clear maple of the adjacent mill work. The fabrication, delivery of finish samples, mock-ups and final installation were all well orchestrated to meet the deadline imposed by a short window of opportunity when the owner would be out of town.
The owner and estate manager were very pleased with the final product. Several projects later, you have become the go-to mill worker for the estate.
